Bonnie Tholl

During her years at Andrew, Coach Tholl was a four-year varsity softball player and was named SICA West All-conference and Southtown All-Area each of her four seasons. She was also named to the Chicago Sun-Times All-Area and All-State teams in 1986 and 1987 and quickly became known as one of the most elite softball players in the state and Midwest. She then earned a scholarship to play softball at the University of Michigan where she continued to excel. After her playing days, she has gone as an assistant coach for one of the most recognizable and successful collegiate programs in the country. She has over 25 years of coaching experience at the D1 level coaching at the University of Michigan. Tholl has coached 56 NCAA All Americans and has a 100% graduation rate for softball student athletes on her teams. She has been recognized for her talent and hard work as a coach was she was named NCAA Division I National Coaching Staff of the Year in 1995 and 2005.

ABOUT US 

The District 230 Foundation is a partnership between community volunteers and school leaders to provide educational opportunities and services for students beyond what the typical budget can fund. The Foundation provides grants that bring teachers' creative ideas to life for students, as well as scholarships to graduating seniors from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
