As an Eagle, Gregory Stefanon earned the title of All-State Football player in 1982 and was a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, he attended the United States Naval Academy and played defensive back from 1984–1987. He then went on to the FBI National Academy and has served as a naval pilot, and FBI barricade team member and was deployed to Afghanistan. He has been recognized with several awards including the FBI Directors Award for the War on Terror and in 2009 he was recognized as part of the group that won the FBI’s Surveillance Team of the Year. Stefanon is currently the Supervisory Special Agent in charge of the Cyber Crime Division in Chicago.

ABOUT US 

The District 230 Foundation is a partnership between community volunteers and school leaders to provide educational opportunities and services for students beyond what the typical budget can fund. The Foundation provides grants that bring teachers' creative ideas to life for students, as well as scholarships to graduating seniors from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
