David O'Connor has built an impressive legal career since his days ay Sandburg High School. He attended Winona State University and graduated in three years with a Bachelors degree in Speech Communication. O'Connor then attended Illinois Institute of Technology's Kent College of Law and earned his JD degree in two and a half years.
He joined the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and at age 23 became one of the youngest prosecutors to ever become an Assistant State's Attorney. With many positions, he left the State's Attorney's Office as Supervisor in the Felony Trial Division. Since then, he has praticipated in over 125 seminars and symposiums and traveled to 20 states to provide information and insight on trial advocacy, techniques, investigations and prosecutions.
He is now in private practice in Orland Park.
