Tom Manzke

After graduating from Sandburg High School, Tom Manzke began working in the trades right away. He is currently the President of KRD Trucking. Under his tutelage, the company has gron to a fleet of 550 semi-trucks and is operating in 19 states. Manzke gave back to his community as well by serving on the board for Tinley Park Building Commission, coaching Bulldog Football and serving on its Board. He also has been a volunteer fireman for Tinley Park. In 2008, he started purchasing homes for families in need who have lost their homes due to hardship. Manzke also financially supports Tinley Wish, has adopted 30 children through Destiny Rescue and generously donated to his church, Parkview Christian Church. He has also contributed to the Bulldogs football program by purchasing uniforms, paying off the loan on the athletic building and purchasing the scoreboard at Freedom Park.

ABOUT US 

The District 230 Foundation is a partnership between community volunteers and school leaders to provide educational opportunities and services for students beyond what the typical budget can fund. The Foundation provides grants that bring teachers' creative ideas to life for students, as well as scholarships to graduating seniors from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
