Ryan Kaminski

Ryan Kaminski has employed the skills he gained from the Eagle Debate Team to pursue a dynamic and inspiring career in human rights and public policy. In his current role with the UN Foundation as program manager for human rights and special initiatives, he has worked across the country and abroad to raise awareness and advocate for fundamental human rights. A "normal" day for Ryan includes anything from engaging diplomats, strategy-building with other advocates, or offering insider analysis on urgent human rights situations. He has published many human rights themed articles in the Yale Journal of International Affairs, Houston Chronicle, Huffington Post and many others. In 2014, he organized and oversaw a nationwide campaign linking over 100 human rights advocates, including youth, community leaders, and students, stretching from New York to Hawaii, to a key human rights process at the UN.
