Jennifer Johnson graduated from Stagg High School in 1993 and went on to Sewanee The University of the South where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree. From there, she headed to Harvard University Law School where she graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree Cum Laude. She is a founding partner of the tax litigation firm Johnson More LLC in Chicago. She is a highly sought-after speaker who shares her knowledge and expertise through a number of organization and conferences including the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, an international symposium on economic crime, and the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants. Serving the local community, Jenny helped launch the Tax Court Calendar Call, a pro bono initiative in Chicago representing low-income taxpayers in the U.S. Tax Court. Partnering with the Center for Economic Progress, she and her team developed a program to train attorneys and law students to represent low-income tax payers and then appear in court to assist taxpayers who arrive for their required hearing without legal assistance.

ABOUT US 

The District 230 Foundation is a partnership between community volunteers and school leaders to provide educational opportunities and services for students beyond what the typical budget can fund. The Foundation provides grants that bring teachers' creative ideas to life for students, as well as scholarships to graduating seniors from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
