Since playing the piano and violin at age five, Brandon Eubank knew he found his calling. He was a stand-out in numerous band and music programs throughout his high school career. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Music Degree from Northwestern University in Evanston. While there, he studied under famed musicians and legendary educators such as Barbara Butler and Charles Geyer. Upon graduation, he joined "The President's Own" United States Marine Band as a trumpet player. "The President's Own" performs regularly at the White House and across the nation. Before working in Washington, he played regularly with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, the Lucerne Festival Academy in Switzerland and has played all around the world. He went on to be an active recitalist, chamber musician, and teacher in D.C.

ABOUT US 

The District 230 Foundation is a partnership between community volunteers and school leaders to provide educational opportunities and services for students beyond what the typical budget can fund. The Foundation provides grants that bring teachers' creative ideas to life for students, as well as scholarships to graduating seniors from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
