After graduating Andrew High School, Todd Edge atteneded the University of Illinois as a Human Resources and Family Studies student. While at college, Edge was hit by a truck while riding his motorcycle and despite wearing a helmet, received a serious mid-brain injury and was in a coma for a month. Edge made a comeback, returned to U of I, earned his degree, married, has a family and a successful happy life.
He decided that his experience could equip him with the skills to help other adults with disabilities find success and gain meaning ful employment throughout the Joliet area. He has worked with Cornerstone Services for over 10 years as the Employer Consultant and has assisted over 400 clients with limitation and barriers in preparation for employment. He was also a Founding Board Member of Love INC of Tinley Park and a Trustee for Tinley Park United Methodist Church.
