After graduating Andrew High School, Todd Edge atteneded the University of Illinois as a Human Resources and Family Studies student. While at college, Edge was hit by a truck while riding his motorcycle and despite wearing a helmet, received a serious mid-brain injury and was in a coma for a month. Edge made a comeback, returned to U of I, earned his degree, married, has a family and a successful happy life. He decided that his experience could equip him with the skills to help other adults with disabilities find success and gain meaning ful employment throughout the Joliet area. He has worked with Cornerstone Services for over 10 years as the Employer Consultant and has assisted over 400 clients with limitation and barriers in preparation for employment. He was also a Founding Board Member of Love INC of Tinley Park and a Trustee for Tinley Park United Methodist Church.

ABOUT US 

The District 230 Foundation is a partnership between community volunteers and school leaders to provide educational opportunities and services for students beyond what the typical budget can fund. The Foundation provides grants that bring teachers' creative ideas to life for students, as well as scholarships to graduating seniors from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
