A five-time Chicago/Midwest Emmy Award winner, Matthew Dominick has created a career from telling stories. Matt went on to attend DePaul University and graduated in 2009 with a B.S. in Digital Cinema. He worked on a variety of films and was chosen to attend the Cannes Film Festival. His senior year he interned with the Blackhawks. Rocky Wirtz saw his talent and recruited him for his team in 2009. Matt was with the Blackhawks for all three Stanley Cups. He shot and edited the video for all three films: One Goal, 17 Seconds, and Hat Trick. He also shot and edited Monuments of Excellence: the story of Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita. Marr shot and edited the Chicago Cubs recruitment video for new players in 2015. John Lester credited the video for his decision to come to Chicago. Theo Epstein recruited Marr to shoot video of the World Series. His talent has also been recognized by Crain's Business Award: 20 in their 20's in 2016. Matt now is using his talent as Senior Director for Content and Production for the Indianapolis Colts.

ABOUT US 

The District 230 Foundation is a partnership between community volunteers and school leaders to provide educational opportunities and services for students beyond what the typical budget can fund. The Foundation provides grants that bring teachers' creative ideas to life for students, as well as scholarships to graduating seniors from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
