Nikki Bridges (DeCiani)

Once she graduated from Stagg High School, Nikki Bridges went on to earn her Bachelor's of Fine and Applied Arts Degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She continued her education by receiving her Master of Architecture and her Masters of Business Administration. Bridges made her way back to D230 working as an architect of projects such as redesigning the food labs, altering and updating the washrooms and locker room, and much more. She has spent much of her time as a lead architect for other schools, municipal buildings and healthcare facilities. She received the Francis J. Plym Fellowship in Architecture and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Bridges went on to be the studio direictor of Studio GC Architecture and Interiors, where she directs the operational activities and manages a number of clients.

ABOUT US 

The District 230 Foundation is a partnership between community volunteers and school leaders to provide educational opportunities and services for students beyond what the typical budget can fund. The Foundation provides grants that bring teachers' creative ideas to life for students, as well as scholarships to graduating seniors from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.
