Once she graduated from Stagg High School, Nikki Bridges went on to earn her Bachelor's of Fine and Applied Arts Degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She continued her education by receiving her Master of Architecture and her Masters of Business Administration.
Bridges made her way back to D230 working as an architect of projects such as redesigning the food labs, altering and updating the washrooms and locker room, and much more. She has spent much of her time as a lead architect for other schools, municipal buildings and healthcare facilities.
She received the Francis J. Plym Fellowship in Architecture and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Bridges went on to be the studio direictor of Studio GC Architecture and Interiors, where she directs the operational activities and manages a number of clients.
