After high school, Dr. Bolger earned her Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. She then earned a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Finally she finished her education, returning to Northwestern, to focus on Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Bolger is now an attending obstetrician and gynecologist in a private practice. Before becoming a board-certified physician, she worked as a research assistant. Dr. Bolger has been honored as an outstanding medical student instructor multiple times, has been honored in all disciplines of core clinical curriculum in medical school and has funded research grants for Phase I and II of the "Transtelephonic Monitoring of Hypertension in African American" study.
Alongside her professional work, she volunteers in many organizations and gives back to not only the community, but the medical field as well.
