D230 Band Showcase

This grant supports the District 230 Band Showcase, a concert featuring the most advanced wind ensembles from Stagg, Sandburg, and Andrew at a professional performing arts venue. The funds will cover the concert hall rental, percussion rental, programs, and the fee for a professional clinician to provide feedback and work with the ensembles, with plans to also professionally record the performances. The project's goals are to provide students with the opportunity to perform on one of the premiere stages in the Midwest, share a collaborative musical experience, celebrate each other's music, and foster a sense of pride as positive representatives of the District 230 community.
