Legacy Hall Class of 2018

The District 230 Foundation is a partnership between community volunteers and school leaders to provide educational opportunities and services for students beyond what the typical budget can fund. The Foundation provides grants that bring teachers' creative ideas to life for students, as well as scholarships to graduating seniors from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools. The District 230 Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with the law.

District 230 Foundation Legacy Hall honors alumni from Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools who have used their education and experience to create a legacy for current and future students to follow.  Learn more about the class of 2018 here.

Grant Feature: World Languages
Nationally recognized Spanish Teacher Ken Stewart met with District 230 World Language teachers to share insights and strategies to help students be immersed in the languages and cultures they study.  Supported by a District 230 Foundation Grant earned by Sandburg teachers Jill Erdman and Michael Erdman, the World Languages teachers took part in professional development focused on increasing students’ speaking, reading, listening and writing in the target language.
